A tow truck crashed into another vehicle on the North Freeway near Highway 287.
The crash occurred at about 2 a.m. on Monday.
Two people in the other vehicle died of their injuries as a result of the collision.
The accident led to the closure of the interstate.
The identities of the victims have yet to be released as of the time of filing this report.
The cause of the crash is still unknown but investigation is underway.
